This report includes a comprehensive analysis of developments since 2021. It is structured in three chapters: the first examines the economic contribution of the pharmaceutical industry, the second analyses its impact on the efficiency of the healthcare system, and the third reviews advances in treatments, with a focus on chronic diseases and other immune-mediated conditions. In addition, this edition incorporates interactive summary sheets of the most relevant publications.
This update, based on a review of the literature and official sources, prioritises information relevant to Spain and the European Union, adapting the content to the current context and avoiding the excessive length of the final report.
