Weber Health Solutions LLC is Weber’s company in the United States, based in Dover, Delaware. It is our gateway to the most innovative, competitive and regulated healthcare market in the world and, above all, our point of contact with the global headquarters of pharmaceutical and medtech companies and with the international consultancies we have worked with for more than a decade.
From Weber USA we connect two worlds: the global teams that design the value strategy for an innovation, and the European and Latin American health systems where that innovation has to prove it.
A global headquarters has the value dossier, the economic model and the value story for its innovation. What it does not always have is the answer to what happens when that strategy reaches a specific system: what evidence does the Spanish, Portuguese or Mexican assessor ask for? Which comparator, which costs, which perspective? What social value does each country recognise, and how is it negotiated in each one?
And the other way round: what can a global team learn from how public European systems assess, fund and purchase? What cost and clinical-practice data does a global model need to be credible in each country?
At Weber USA we believe those questions are best answered by a partner who understands both the global logic and the local reality.
1.
We work with HEOR, market access and public affairs teams at headquarters, in English and at their pace, as an extension of their own team: global access plans, training, dossiers and models.
2.
We adapt global value dossiers, cost-effectiveness and budget-impact models and pricing and reimbursement tools to the health systems of Spain, Portugal, Europe and Latin America, with our local teams.
3.
We are a regular supplier of cost and clinical-practice data for global models in the United States, the five major European markets, Poland, Russia and Vietnam, for international consultancies and companies.
4.
Burden-of-disease studies, social value, multi-criteria decision analysis and public-affairs strategies that a headquarters can roll out in several countries at once.
5.
Dover, Madrid, Lisbon and Mexico City work as a squad: a global project is designed with headquarters and delivered by the people who know each market.
– Why clients choose us –
We combine robust methodologies, systems analysis, data, people and lateral thinking to understand every challenge from every angle, ask questions you probably have never stopped to consider, and build deeper, more useful and actionable solutions.
Because what sets us apart is not only what we know.
It is how we think.
Our own framework for valuing innovation beyond classic assessment: productivity, caregivers, equity, social return. For a global headquarters, it is a way to build a value story that works across very different systems.
Health economics, market access, real-world evidence, data, foresight and communication working on your challenge at the same time, with people from the United States, Spain, Portugal and Mexico on the same team.
Cost databases for the United States, EU5, Poland, Russia and Vietnam, models, simulators and data platforms developed by Weber Data & Technology, ready to feed a global model or adapt it to each country.
– track record –
Since 2013 we have worked with the headquarters of pharmaceutical and medtech companies and with international consultancies based in the United States and the United Kingdom. Some examples:
Support to Takeda’s global headquarters on the access strategy for Qdenga®, its dengue vaccine, in the endemic markets of Latin America and Asia: design of the market-prioritisation framework (opportunity and influence over three and ten years), facilitation of the working groups with global, regional and local teams, market access plan and team training programme.
Adaptation to the Spanish National Health System of global value dossiers, budget-impact models and pricing and reimbursement tools for Syneos Health Consulting, a US-based global consultancy, in epilepsy, HIV, food allergy, ovarian cancer, hypertriglyceridaemia and other areas.
Unit-cost and economic-burden data services for global models in obesity, haemophilia, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, multiple myeloma, prostate cancer, psoriatic arthritis, eosinophilic oesophagitis and anticoagulation, for international consultancies such as Adelphi Group.
Adaptation of global value dossiers and pricing and reimbursement tools from companies in the United States, the United Kingdom, Belgium and the Netherlands in oncology, rare diseases, immunology and medical devices, and development of a global value dossier for a medtech company out of Brussels.
Retrospective COVID-19 burden and mortality models developed in Spain (excess non-COVID mortality during the pandemic, real-world use of antivirals) and adapted for Canada to estimate, province by province, the impact of introducing an antiviral, for the global headquarters of a pharmaceutical company.
Through Weber Health Solutions LLC, implementation of a telemedicine platform as the digital backbone of the national health system of a Central American government.
